1) After we
receive a start up form from you someone will contact you within 2
business days to discuss your situation. At this point we make the
general introductions and answer any questions you may have. We also try
to determine how far along in the invention process you are so we all
know what is left to be done before we can aggressively seek buyers.
2)If you
like what you hear you can submit a formal invention idea for us to
review. Your idea is 100% confidential and protected. There is no charge
for the evaluation.
3) The
review process usually takes around one week. During this time our
research team does what it can to assess the feasibility of your product
within all possible markets. We try to answer questions such as: Has
anyone ever tried to bring this product/idea to the market? Are there
similar products out there? What range would the suggested retail price
of your product be? How much would it cost to manufacture the product?
How much would it cost to ship the products by bulk order? What kind of
markups can retailers make? Is there a genuine need for the product? Is
the product marketable? What demographics would this product appeal to?
Would anyone ever need more than 1 of your product? Is your product
legal? Is your product safe?
4) After the
review we contact you and let you know the results of our evaluation and
whether or not we are willing and able to move forward with you as your
agent.
5) If your
invention passes our evaluation, we let you know what is left to be done
before we can successfully market the product. The stronger the overall
presentation of your product/ idea is, the better chance it has of
gaining interest from potential buyers. We’ll also assess what patents
are applicable and necessary for you to have before we really put the
product/ idea out there.
6) As your
agent, it behooves us to get you the best deal out there. We take the
necessary steps to make presentations to the companies out there who
should have a legitimate interest. With your approval, we make formal
proposals to the companies who are interested. We’ll negotiate the best
possible terms for a license, buyout, and/ or royalties. IF you approve,
you’ll sign the agreements and we’ll make sure that you always
collect the correct amounts on time.
